Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities in Ohio. Flexible scheduling includes part-time, PRN, weekday, weekend, or 12-hour shifts to fit your availability.

You will assist clients with ADLs, mobility support, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation to appointments, all while following care plans and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year caregiving experience preferred.
• HHA/STNA/CNA or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent work while following care plans.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing and dressing.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Observe and report changes to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.

What You'll Do
