Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland West is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities. We offer flexible scheduling, steady client assignments, and opportunities for career growth with full-time, part-time, PRN, and 12-hour shift options.

We require a high school diploma or GED, caregiver training (HHA/STNA/CNA) preferred, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience preferred.
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following client care plans.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.

Schedule Include:

• Someone who can work Fulltime
• Different shifts are available (AM, PM, Night shift)
• Minimum 0f 36-40 hours per week
• We are lookin for someone ready for on call
• Someone who has high Flexibility in terms of Schedule and Location
• Should be available to work in the west part of Cleveland.

What You'll Do
