BrightStar Care - Cleveland is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities. We offer flexible scheduling, steady client assignments, and opportunities for career growth with shifts including full-time, part-time, PRN, weekday, weekend, and 12-hour options.

You will assist clients with ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship while following individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year caregiving/home care experience preferred.
• HHA/STNA/CNA training preferred; CPR cert required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene).
• Provide mobility transfers and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offer companionship and emotional support; accompany to appointments.
• Observe changes and report to care team; follow care plans.

Current Schedule Include:

• Part-Time, Full-Time and PRN shifts Available
• Morning, Afternoon and night shifts available
• 2-hours shifts available with Premium pay
• 4-8 hours shifts available
• 12 hours shifts available as well.
• Willing to work in West part of Cleveland

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience preferred
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while following client care plans
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
