Job summary

Datavant is seeking an entry-level ROI associate to process medical record requests with accuracy and a focus on patient privacy. The role is onsite in Miami, FL, supporting patient information requests while upholding HIPAA regulations.

Training is provided, and you'll work with a team to ensure timely, high-quality service. Responsibilities include handling requests, updating systems, and coordinating with facilities to safeguard records.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software.
• Adhere to conduct policies and report site challenges to management.
• Assist with additional duties as needed to meet volume demands.
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and properly stored.
• Create digital images of paperwork for EMR storage.
• Respond to requests from internal and external sources in a timely manner.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls; support patient walk-ins as needed.
• Handle administrative tasks such as faxes, mail, and data entry.
• Meet productivity expectations outlined at the site.
