Responsibilities

• Assess adequacy of authorizations for HIPAA-compliant releases.
• Determine disclosures based on authorization, legal authority, or TPO rules.
• Process requests timely with high accuracy and log disclosures.
• Apply applicable fees for record requests when permitted.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance during all steps.
• Utilize EHR systems to retrieve, index, and store records.
