Job summary

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH is seeking a Board Eligible/Certified arthroscopy and hip preservation surgeon to join our Orthopaedics team. The role centers on building a hip preservation practice at an academic medical center with opportunities for outreach across NH and VT.

The ideal candidate will perform arthroscopic and open hip procedures, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in research and teaching activities within the Geisel School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of accredited Orthopaedic residency.
• Fellowship training in hip preservation, comprehensive hip, or the equivalent required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedics (to be obtained within 5 years).
• Eligible for NH medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in Orthopaedics with emphasis on hip preservation.
• Develop a hip preservation practice with arthroscopic and open techniques.
• Join an established multidisciplinary team with mentorship and collaboration.
• Participate in academic mission with protected research time if interested.

Education
