Job summary

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH, seeks a Board Eligible/Certified Trauma Surgeon to join our Orthopaedics team. The role focuses on the full scope of trauma surgery within an academic medical setting and involves collaboration across Dartmouth Health in NH and VT.

The ideal candidate will contribute to our academic mission with protected research time and may receive an Geisel School of Medicine appointment (Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor) commensurate with

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGME or RCPSC accredited Orthopaedic residency.
Fellowship training in trauma.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedics (to be obtained within 5 years).
Eligible for NH medical licensure.

Responsibilities

Provide expert care in Orthopaedics with emphasis on the full-scope of trauma surgery.
Join an established multidisciplinary team with opportunities for support and mentorship.
Participate in the academic mission with protected research time; potential Geisel School of Medicine appointment.
Academic rank (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) commensurate with experience.
