Job summary

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH seeks an Academic Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to provide full-scope trauma care within Dartmouth Health’s Department of Orthopaedics. The position centers at the academic medical center with outreach across New Hampshire and Vermont.

The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, participate in the academic mission, and may have protected research time.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME or RCPSC accredited Orthopaedic residency.
• Fellowship training in trauma.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedics (to be obtained within 5 years).
• Eligible for NH medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in orthopaedics with emphasis on trauma surgery.
• Join an established multidisciplinary team with mentorship opportunities.
• Active participant in the academic mission with potential protected research time.
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience (Professor/Associate/Assistant).
