Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Medical License.
• Board eligible and completed an accredited orthopedic residency or international equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations; provide direct patient care to a specified population, write prescriptions as needed.
• Assist in pre-op, intra-op and post-op care; write appropriate orders, including those for narcotics.
• Perform emergency procedures and assist in the operating room as needed; conduct fracture reductions and joint injections.
• Notifies attending/supervising physicians of unusual events and coordinates care.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and contribute to patient education and outcomes.
