Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking a full-time Instructor in the Hip Preservation Program within the Department of Orthopedics in Boulder, CO. This exempt role focuses on clinical care, education, and research in an academically busy orthopedic hip preservation setting.

Responsibilities include patient care across perioperative phases, écrire orders, teaching, and community outreach. The position offers robust benefits and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Medical License.
• Board eligible and completed an accredited orthopedic residency or international equivalent.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills; excellent interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations; provide direct patient care.
• Write prescriptions for medications, PT, OT, imaging studies, and DME; complete forms as needed.
• Assist in pre-, intra-, and post-op care; write appropriate orders.
• Perform emergency lifesaving procedures and manage fractures when needed; assist in operating room settings.
• Coordinate clinic operations with the team and document patient status; educate patients and families.
• Support educational programs and community outreach efforts within CU Sports Medicine.
• Assist in preparing educational materials and presentations for meetings and conferences.

Education
