You will ensure accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining EMR integrity for patient care continuity.

Qualificações

• Requires 1+ year of experience in medical records or health information management or completion of post-high school education in medical records and information systems.
• Must communicate effectively in written and oral formats; able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Proficient with EHR systems, databases, and document imaging tools; strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Release of information following policy and laws.
• Review health information and identify deficiencies in the EMR.
• Provide customer service to patients, vendors, providers, and staff.
• Perform document imaging: scanning, quality control, and validation.
• Review scanned documents to maintain EMR integrity and completeness.
• Assist with transcription issues and Dragon/voice recognition training.
