Job summary

You will manage electronic health records (EHR), process release of information requests, and support audits and documentation reviews. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 1 year of healthcare or customer service experience,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of healthcare or customer service experience.
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
Typing speed of 40 WPM and proficiency with 10-key data entry.
Detail-oriented with good organization and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
Familiarity with basic office equipment (fax, scanner, copier, etc.).

Responsibilities

Manage electronic health records (EHR), including scanning, verifying, and indexing documents.
Process release of information requests according to policy and privacy standards.
Support audits and medical documentation review processes.
Assist with correcting or amending electronic records as needed.
Provide administrative support for a variety of HIM services.
Demonstrate excellent customer service through respectful and kind communication.
