Job summary

Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, ID is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to assist in keeping the hospital environment safe, clean, and fully operational. You will maintain and repair equipment, tools, furniture, and systems aligned with your training and certifications.

Under the Director of Engineering, you will lead and guide Engineering Services staff, perform work across skilled trades, and participate in the on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years’ experience with boilers, electrical systems, generators, HVAC, plumbing or other mechanical equipment.
• Completion of technical trade or two-year trade degree.
• Valid Driver’s License must be held.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the facility.
• Repair and maintain facility equipment, tools, furniture, and systems.
• Follow tasks as set forth by the Director of Engineering.
• Provide work direction and guidance to Engineering Technicians.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
