Responsibilities

Assemble, analyze, abstract, scan, and maintain medical records for verifiable documentation.
Coordinate with hospital staff, physicians, and admin to ensure timely, accurate record completion.
Respond to HIPAA inquiries per guidelines.
Maintain record indexes and storage/retrieval systems.
Order supplies to meet department and budget needs.
Uphold confidentiality of patient and employee information.
Attend mandatory in-services and staff meetings.
Represent the organization professionally to patients, visitors, and staff.
