Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in HIM/HIT preferred.
• RHIT or RHIA certification preferred.
• Technical proficiency incl. Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and maintain physical and electronic medical records.
• Accurately enter and manage data within the MEDHOST EHR system.
• Handle record preparation, scanning, indexing, abstracting, and retrieval.
• Analyze paper and electronic records for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance and confiden­tiality of PHI.
