Valley View Silt is seeking an HIM Specialist II to support the Medical Records Department on-site at the Silt office in Silt, CO. The role requires handling, organizing, and protecting medical records, managing incoming faxes, and providing strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have accuracy, multitasking ability, and health information management education or certification. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and growth opportunities at Valley View Silt.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical records handling and privacy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Performs Main Medical Record Activities.
• Performs Departmental receptionist/secretary duties.
• Performs Scanning, QA and Document indexing Activities.
• Performs Periodic Record Review Activities as Directed by HIM Management.
• Performs Routine MPI Management functions.
• Provides Departmental coverage for Birth Certificate Registrations.
• Provides Release of Information Services as needed.
