Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clerical experience in healthcare.
• Preferred RHIT/RHIA certification or related health information program.
• Knowledge of statistics and data collection.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to travel between hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality assurance for work function within area of responsibility.
• Monitors reports and workflows identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Tests and troubleshoots new software applications and system upgrades with IT.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and related regulations.
• Interacts with clinical and administrative departments, physicians, clinicians, and patients.
