Baptist Health in Boca Raton is seeking a HIM Document Tech to prep, collate and index protected health information into the Document Management System while upholding the integrity of the medical record.
You will review documents for correct patient demographics, batch per procedures, and ensure timely processing of records for patient care in line with Joint Commission standards and coding goals. The role requires 2+ years of clerical experience and strong MS Office skills.

HIM Document Tech preps, collates and indexes protected health information into the Document Management System maintaining integrity of the legal medical record. Reviews documents for correct patient demographic information batching documents according to departmental procedures. Ensures accurate and timely processing of records for availability of information for patient care in accordance to The Joint Commission Standards and for coding and reimbursement in accordance to our policies and goals. Works as part of team to meet individual and departmental goals. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.07 / hour depending on experience.
