Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Health Information Management Supervisor to partner with the HIM Operations Manager and lead daily department functions. The role includes supervising multiple care sites, coordinating on-site and remote work, and ensuring timely release of information in line with regulations.

Key responsibilities include monitoring workflows, quality assurance of medical records, and leading process improvements while supporting staff through training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of health information systems.
• Experience with EPIC, Solarity, OnBase and data archive systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational support across HIM areas and oversees workflows.
• Evaluates trends, measures staff performance, and maintains standards.
• Identifies and communicates errors in chart certifications; cross-trains staff.
• Arranges coverage for call-ins and prepares work schedules; coordinates with leaders.
• Assists with evaluating staff performance and maintaining compliance.
