Qualifications

• At least five years of HIM experience.
• At least two years of leading teams.
• RHIT or RHIA certification upon hire.
• Experience with chart completion and records management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of all HIM processes including chart completion, integrity of the medical record, release of information, and scanning.
• Identify changes to policy, productivity, and quality measures and ensure staff performance meets standards.
• Evaluate staff performance annually and ensure productivity and quality targets are met.
• Prepare and approve work schedules and time cards; represent HIM in meetings as directed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
