The HIM Operations Supervisor leads the Health Information Management (HIM) Operations team, overseeing daily workflows and administrative functions related to the health record. This role is responsible for managing operational performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting excellent customer service, and driving efficient, high-quality HIM operations.
The supervisor partners closely with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to resolve workflow issues, improve processes, and ensure the medical record remains complete, accurate, and accessible.
This role ensures the integrity and accessibility of the medical record while supporting regulatory compliance and organizational goals. The HIM Operations Supervisor leads key functions including Chart Completion, Scanning, and the Iron Mountain Managed Services Program, helping advance enterprise digitization, information governance, and operational excellence.
Through strong leadership, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making, this position plays a critical role in supporting high-quality patient care and exceptional service across the organization.
