Responsible for providing clerical and filing support to Health Information Service Department includes, entering information into computer; copying, faxing, sorting and filing documents; answering telephones and responding to inquiries; filing charts, sorting and distributing mail while maintaining patient confidentiality according to State/Federal and HIPAA laws.
Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent.
At least one year experience in Health Information Services, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
