Job summary

Citizens Health in Colby, Kansas seeks a driven Medical Records Supervisor to oversee HIM operations under direction of Compliance and Privacy Officers. The role includes custodianship of medical records, policy development, personnel management, and support for revenue cycle tasks.

A RHIT certification and hospital HIM experience are preferred. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with standard daytime hours and compensation dependent upon experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RHIT certification.
• Experience in a hospital HIM department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a legal custodian of Medical Records for the organization.
• Develop and maintain department policies.
• Manage personnel.
• Birth Certificate completion.
• Support other revenue cycle areas upon request.
• Complete other duties as requested.
