Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Epic HIM Analyst to build and configure Epic modules, focusing on coding workflows and proficiency tracking. You will partner with HIM operations to translate challenges into system enhancements and manage end-user support through the service desk.

The role includes testing, data validation across systems, and regular stakeholder updates to prioritize improvements and ensure successful builds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Epic HIM Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with Epic Coding workflows.
• Experience with Proficiency Tracking within Epic.
• Experience with full Epic lifecycle: requirements, build, testing, support.
• Strong HIM operations and medical records knowledge.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and vendors.

This analyst will spend the majority of their time building and configuring Epic HIM modules, with a focus on coding workflows and proficiency tracking. They will partner closely with HIM operational teams to understand current challenges and translate those into system enhancements. A portion of the day will involve managing and resolving service desk tickets, ensuring timely support for end users. The analyst will also participate in testing efforts, including unit testing and user acceptance testing, for new builds and system updates. Regular meetings with stakeholders will be expected to review performance, prioritize enhancements, and provide updates on ongoing work. They will support data conversion activities by validating data and ensuring integrity across systems. Additionally, the analyst will continuously look for opportunities to improve coding efficiency tracking and overall HIM workflows within Epic.

• Epic Certifications:
  • Coding

• Experience with full Epic lifecycle work: requirements gathering, build, testing, and support
• Strong understanding of HIM operations and coding processes
• Strong operational understanding of Health information and medical records
• Excellent communication and ability to communicate with stakeholders/vendors
