A leading healthcare IT firm is seeking an Epic HIM Certified Analyst to join their remote team. Responsibilities include supporting various projects and ensuring all HIM functions are effectively integrated. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of Epic HIM experience, particularly in Coding. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the potential for occasional onsite visits.

Base pay range

$105,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

  • On-site Requirements: 100% Remote – may required 1-2 on-site visits annually for team events or projects

  • On-call Requirements: Current on-call schedule is rotated through three HIM analysts. Each has 2-3 days per week. They may be changing this to weekly. Not a huge volume of after hours calls.
  • Team Structure:
  • 4 Analyst total
  • 1 Sr Analyst
  • 2 Analysts
  • 1 Community Connect Analyst – only responsible for Community Connect partners
Position Summary
  • Looking for a strong Epic HIM Certified Analyst that has experience in all 4 areas of Epic HIM and specifically strong in Coding.
  • The HIM team gets pulled into a lot of other applications projects because it will have effect on the HIM teams build. This person needs to be able to ask questions in meetings and not stay silent if they don’t understand how HIM will be affected.
  • Don’t intend for this person to be point person any project initially out the gate but have a lot of things going on that they could be a part of: Beans implementation, Compass Rose implementation, Single Path Coding, Community Connect, AI for coding, etc.
  • Need this person to be assertive in meetings and not be afraid to ask questions in project and planning meetings.
Position Qualifications
  • Must be certified in Epic HIM (Coding, ROI, and Deficiency Tracking)
  • Epic HIM Identity certification is preferred, not required
  • Must have 3+ years of Epic HIM build, testing, and support experience
  • Must have build and support experience in all 4 areas of Epic HIM – Coding, Deficiency Tracking, ROI, and Identity
  • Experience with CDI (clinical documentation improvement) and / or Community Connects would be a bonus, not required
