CVRMC in Globe, AZ seeks a permanent HIM Director to oversee Health Information Management operations. The role requires a strategic leader with deep knowledge of coding, records management, and revenue cycle processes to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Must hold RHIA, RHIT, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Health Information Management, preferably in a rural hospital or Critical Access Hospital environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance, coding, medical records management, and revenue cycle processes in an acute care hospital setting.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of effectively managing a team and driving operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, quickly assess operations, and implement best practices.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent HIM Director to join our team in the Tech Services industry. This role requires a unique blend of leadership, technical expertise and strategic vision. As the HIM Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations and business activities of the Health Information Management (HIM) department to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission of the organization.
