The role requires at least two years of coding experience, knowledge of coding guidelines, and credentials. You will work with Quadax and the 3M Coding System, while maintaining a 95% accuracy rate and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of medical coding experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and terminology.

Responsabilités

• Assign ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS/CPT/HCPCS codes per guidelines.
• Abstract data from patient records into billing systems.
• Verify medical necessity and support proper reimbursement.
• Query providers when documentation is unclear.
• Maintain 95% coding accuracy and meet turnaround times.
• Participate in audits and denial management as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality.
• Utilize Quadax and 3M Coding System in workflow.
