Job summary

Hill's Resort Inc. seeks a versatile Maintenance Technician to uphold the upkeep of resort facilities and grounds. You will handle electrical, plumbing, and small machinery tasks, with larger problems contracted out as needed.

The role is full-time, five days per week with summer Saturdays required. A starting wage of $16 per hour applies for a 30-day training period, after which a raise is provided based on performance and competencies.

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge across electrical, plumbing and small machinery.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate tools safely.
• Experience with routine maintenance tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort facilities and grounds.
• Carry out electrical and plumbing tasks as needed; major issues contracted out.
• Work five days a week; Saturdays required in peak summer season.
• Participate in a 30-day training and evaluation period with supervision.

Job description

The maintenance team is responsible for the overall maintenance and appearance of all resort facilities and grounds for a large multi-faceted property with high seasonal, weekend, and holiday demands.

The position in 5 days per week, in the summer season everyone works Saturdays.

General maintenance knowledge is required for electrical, plumbing, small machinery. (ex. changing a light switch, replacing a faucet, fixing a pressure washer. Large problems are contracted out)

Starting wage is $16 per hour for a 30-day period where the Facilities Director, Bryan Reilly, will work with you on training and assess your skill level and then after 30 days a raise will be given depending on performance and competencies.

• Walk, sit, stand, squat, and crawl in a lying position.
• Lift in excess of 50lbs.
• Sit and operate equipment in rough and finished terrain for long periods of time.
• Utilize hands and wrists with high dexterity to use all common hand and power tools.
