Ford Motor Company, a leader in mobility, seeks a Manager HIL Test Systems in Long Beach, CA. You will lead a skilled team to define and execute HIL strategies for BMS and HV ECUs, overseeing dSPACE/Typhoon setups and automated test scripts using Python.

The role combines lab work with home-office flexibility within a hybrid model. You’ll collaborate across hardware, software, validation and safety to ensure robust test coverage, root-cause analysis, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RM Tools (Jama, Polarion) and Python-based test automation for HIL.
• Experience leading HIL test engineers and managing project delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of HIL test engineers and define a strategic HIL roadmap.
• Oversee HIL test systems (dSPACE, Typhoon, Vector) and lab equipment maintenance.
• Design/build HIL test systems for BMS, OBC, DCDC and chargeport ECUs.
• Create detailed HIL test plans, robust test cases, and automated scripts.
• Collaborate with BMS hardware, software, validation, and safety teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis of failures and coordinate with developers.
• Manage resources, budgets, and scheduling to meet milestones.
• Ensure traceability from requirements to tests using RM tools; travel up to 5%.
