Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an engineer to develop and implement HIL test strategies for Powertrain systems in Auburn Hills, MI. The candidate will utilize the Dspace tool chain and MATLAB models to create and manage test environments and validate system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• years of experience in HIL testing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency with Dspace tool chain and MATLAB for modeling and simulation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HIL test strategies for Powertrain systems.
• Utilize Dspace tool chain for creating and managing test environments.
• Design and simulate MATLAB models for testing purposes.
• Write Development and Validation Plans (DVPs) to ensure thorough testing.
• Conduct requirement analysis to understand testing needs.
• Analyze system performance, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools.
• Involvement in System Positive Testing (SPT) to validate functionalities.
