Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an entry-level embedded test engineer to execute test cases for ECUs and embedded controllers in our lab environment. You will support HIL test setups using dSPACE, NI VeriStand, or similar tools, perform functional and regression testing, analyze CAN networks with CANalyzer/CANoe, and assist with Python scripting and test automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
0–3 years of experience, including internships or academic projects.
Basic knowledge of embedded systems, control systems, and CAN communication.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

Execute test cases for embedded controllers and electronic control units (ECUs).
Support HIL test setups using dSPACE, NI VeriStand, or similar tools.
Perform functional, regression, and requirements-based testing.
Use CANalyzer or CANoe to analyze vehicle communication networks.
Assist with Python scripting and test automation.
Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and document test results.
Collaborate with software, controls, and systems engineering teams.
