Roles and responsibilities

• Support the specification/requirements phase for defining Hardware in the Loop test systems
• Support and maintain the development of plant models used in the HIL System
• Coordinating the build of algorithm validation test equipment
• Design software verification test, for vehicles SW components, mainly on HIL environment
• Design and create automated testing methods
• Set up and execute validation testing on target controllers
• Work closely with the algorithm, software, hardware, and calibration engineers to understand requirements
• Evaluate the results gathered by the test stand
• Log potential software defects into issue tracking tool
• Assist in the planning and execution of engineering activities assigned to the team
• Work on all phases or aspects of projects including marketing support, technical studies, preparation of specifications, technical plans, testing, data analysis and validation
• Support opportunities for technology development, process improvements, tool development, and knowledge capture and reuse
• Support, organize and lead customer meetings
• Provide active team leadership through technical mentoring, frequent feedback, and transparent communication of team goals and priorities
• Effort estimation and planning
