Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Michigan is seeking an experienced HIL/ automotive simulation engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain plant models for real-time hardware-in-the-loop testing across ECU, powertrain, and vehicle subsystems.

You will use MATLAB/Simulink and related tools, work with dSPACE or similar platforms, and develop tests and scripts to validate communication networks (CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet) and model calibration against real-world data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HIL, SIL, MIL, or automotive simulation/modeling.
• Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Hands-on experience with dSPACE or similar HIL platforms.
• Strong understanding of ECUs and automotive embedded systems.
• Experience with CAN/CAN FD and automotive communication protocols.
• Experience with HIL test execution, debugging, and troubleshooting.
