Job summary

VASA Fitness seeks a Studio Red Coach to deliver high-energy HIIT workouts and provide an exceptional member experience. You will greet members, set up studios, demonstrate exercises with clear modifications, and keep safety as priority.

As part of a passionate team, you will engage members, promote studio products, and support class attendance. The role requires prior group fitness experience, CPR/AED and an NCCA-certified certification, with travel as needed within Tulsa area.

Qualifications

• Year of experience in personal training, small group training and/or group fitness training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Experience in leading, communicating, coaching, teaching, or facilitating a group of people.
• General knowledge and experience of kinesiology, exercise science, physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and prepared, greet members and start class on time.
• Safely demonstrate exercises with correct form and provide modifications.
• Be approachable, professional, energetic and engaging.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing member needs and concerns.
• Actively engage in the class and guide participants throughout the workout.
• Recommend relevant VASA Fitness products and amenities meeting members' needs.
• Invite non-members to STUDIO RED classes to grow membership.
• Coach individuals at their fitness levels and provide modifications when needed.
• Monitor effort and encourage participants using the Myzone technology.
• Maintain organization, positivity and effective interpersonal communication.
• Execute post-class procedures including cleaning and sanitizing.
