You will perform thorough cleanings, periodontal charting, take X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, and collaborate with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans while delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RDH license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for patients.
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments including periodontal charting and screenings.
• Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with practice protocols.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies.
• Document accurate patient records and treatment notes in the practice management system.
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to develop individualized patient treatment plans.
• Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride or sealant treatments as needed.
