Spicer Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Transportation Service Line in Georgia. The role focuses on designing transportation infrastructure for highways and roadways, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Travel to client sites and meetings may be required to ensure regulatory compliance and project success. The candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to complete projects on time and within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain license within a year.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects, including major highways, roadways, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with design teams to prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical calculations.
• Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MicroStation/ORD to develop project designs and modeling.
• Provide technical guidance to Design Engineers and project team members.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare project cost estimates.
• Visit client construction sites and attend meetings to ensure compliance with design specs and regulations.
