Job summary

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in building maintenance or related highway experience.
• Substitution: Successful completion of vocational school training may substitute for the required experience through an established formula.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the District Maintenance Office in Mercer County.
• Performs skilled and semi-skilled work in maintenance and repair of Highways’ facilities, buildings and grounds.
• Work in several building maintenance trades with limited direction.
• May be trained to work with asbestos or environmental issues.
