Job summary

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is seeking a Highway Foreman 2 for the District Striping Unit 776. The role schedules and supervises mobile striping crews on state and federal highways, ensuring work follows MUTCD standards and DOTD specifications.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in construction, maintenance, or repair of roads or related facilities.
• Four years of experience in operation/maintenance of electronically controlled locks or heavy equipment.
• Valid Louisiana Class A CDL and willingness to submit to random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, and supervise daily striping crew activities.
• Ensure crew training and conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain striping data and manage supplies, equipment, and manpower.
• Ensure work complies with MUTCD and department specs.
• Coordinate road closures, sign installations, and maintenance.
