Kleinfelder's Construction Services team in Virginia is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager with highway and design-build experience. The QAM will oversee the QA program, coordinate audits, and report to the Design-Build Project Manager.

Candidates must be licensed Professional Engineer or eligible to be licensed in Virginia, with 10+ years in construction management and infrastructure projects, plus supervision experience and strong communication with stakeholders.

Competenze

• Be a Licensed Professional Engineer or capable of being licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Have 10+ years of related experience, 3-4 years project-related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Have a minimum of 2 years coordination/supervisory experience
• Possess excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including contractors, VDOT personnel, government officials, inspectors, and the public
• Have the ability to identify potential projects/clients, and market our services
• Possess a driver's license and the ability to commute to projects when required
• Possess a working knowledge of the current software programs utilized in the industry

Mansioni

• Lead and direct project Design-Build Quality Assurance efforts in accordance with VDOT's requirements
• Develop and publish project QA/QC Plans
• Conduct audits, inspections and testing in validation of the QC Plan
• Visit the project on an as-needed basis
• Manage and coordinate QC & QA materials testing
• Prepare the project materials notebook per VDOT requirements
• Maintain and coordinate staff for observation and inspection of work
• Document QA activities and ensure QC documentation meets standards
• Ensure all quality documentation is deposited in the project Document Management System
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports and recommend resolutions
• Manage all nonconformities affecting quality of products
• Certify that contractor's monthly pay applications meet contract requirements
• Maintain awareness of safety and health requirements
• Ensure offsite plant inspections are performed by the appropriate entity
• Certify project conformance with applicable standards and specifications
