Highway Maintenance Technicians

Position Summary

We are seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians to perform highway maintenance in Nashville, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. The role involves performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Schedule

Full-time position. Flexibility and availability to work on-call, including weekends and nights, are required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks as part of a team, including pothole repair, fence maintenance, seeding, herbicide application, debris removal, incident response, heavy equipment operation, sign repair, bridge work, longitudinal cable barrier repair and installation, and guardrail repair and installation.
Preferred Experience
  • Roadway maintenance or construction experience
  • MOT Certifications
  • CDL A license

Note: A clean driving record is essential. Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting (provided by the company).

  • Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Proper safety equipment for each job
  • Adaptability to the latest technology and ability to use smartphones and applications

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing manual labor
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
