Qualifications

• Operates a variety of vehicles and mechanized equipment to include backhoe, tractors with attachments, crew cabs, and dump truck.
• Performs pre-trip inspection/minor maintenance on vehicles/equipment.
• Cleans and washes equipment and maintains bridges/roadways with tools.
• Performs manual labor with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and mechanized equipment including backhoe and dump truck.
• Perform pre-trip inspection and routine maintenance on vehicles/equipment being operated.
• Clean and wash equipment; maintain bridges and roadways with hand, pneumatic and electrical tools.
• Perform independent manual labor with minimal supervision at intermediate complexity.
• Assist in rough carpentry, masonry, painting, and assembly of highway signs.
• Perform Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic).
