Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians-Mowing Equipment Operators to perform maintenance in the Kissimmee, FL area. Responsibilities include mowing with small and large machines, weed control, and litter removal, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. A clean driving record and background check are required.

Qualifications

• MUST maintain background checks (criminal, driving, drug testing).

Position Summary:

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-timeHighway Maintenance Technicians-Mowing Equipment Operators to perform maintenance operations in the Kissimmee, FL area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team performing a variety of tasks related to highway mowing operations. MUST be flexible and able to work on-call and nights when necessary.

Mowing tasks include, but not limited to:

• Mowing operations
  • Small machine, large machine, tractors, 15' mowing decks
• Weed eating
• Litter removal
  • Side by side, trash pickers/reacher

Clean driving record is essential Must pass criminal background check

Preferred Experience:

• Roadway maintenance experience
• Small machine mowing
• Mowing/weed control
• MOT Certifications

Schedule:

Full time; must be flexible and willing to work on-call and overtime as needed.

Salary:

$17+/hr depending on equipment knowledge/experience.
