Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians to perform highway mowing operations and related tasks in compliance with federal, state and local regulations and company policies.

You will join a team responsible for mowing with various equipment, weed control, litter removal, and an on-call rotation to support project needs. A clean driving record and background check are required; competitive benefits are included.

Position Summary:

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians to perform maintenance operations in the Orlando, FL area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Work as a part of a team performing a variety of tasks related to highway mowing operations. MUST be flexible and able to participate in the project's highway maintenance on-call rotation when necessary.

Mowing Tasks Include, But Not Limited To:

• Mowing operations Small machine, large machine, tractors, 15' mowing decks
• Weed eating
• Litter removal
• Side by side, trash pickers/reacher

Preferred Experience:

• Roadway maintenance experience
• Small machine mowing
• Mowing/weed control
• MOT Certifications

Clean driving record is essential. Must pass criminal background check.

Qualifications:

• Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations

Salary:

$16-$20/hr Depends on experience and certifications.

Schedule:

Full time, Must be flexible and available to work on-call when required.
