Job summary

Qualifications

• A combination of training, experience, or education in Equipment Repair, Construction, Maintenance or related field desired.
• Experience performing roadway maintenance or construction activities.
• Experience with emergency operations to include snow removal, storms, and accident clean-up.
• Skill in equipment operation and performing preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain highway equipment for maintenance and construction activities.
• Prepare and operate equipment for snow and ice removal or other emergency operations.
• Provide accident clean-up and traffic control during and after normal working hours.
• Maintain safety and follow regulations (OSHA, MUTCD, etc.).
• Work as part of a crew to complete projects and objectives.
