Job summary

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Obtain CDL and DOT medical card within 11 months of employment.
Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
Read and follow oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of highway maintenance equipment, materials, methods, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain light and medium‑duty highway equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
Prepare equipment for snow/ice removal and emergency operations; provide traffic control.
Ensure work site safety and apply MUTCD for detours and work zones.
Install, maintain, remove traffic control devices in work zones.
Participate as a crew member to complete projects and perform manual labor as needed.
