Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Work Zone Safety and Workplace safety policies.
• Working knowledge of standard road maintenance procedures and equipment operation.
• Experience operating multiple highway maintenance machines.
• Experience in pipe installation or erosion control devices is advantageous.
• Snow and ice removal experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highways in Forsyth County using various equipment.
• Install traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Respond to emergencies including snow/ice and downed trees; flag traffic.
