Position Summary

We are seeking full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians in Waco, Texas for day, mid, and night shifts. Responsibilities include performing tasks related to highway maintenance, signs, guardrails, and drainage, in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Required Experience

• Exposure to using shovels, weed trimming machinery, brooms, and various small hand tools
• Familiarity with air compressor operations
• Minimum of 2 years related experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Construction or roadway maintenance experience
• Guardrail and sign installation experience
• Concrete forming and repair experience
• MOT (Traffic control certifications/courses)
• Experience operating wheel loaders, skid steers, forklifts, asphalt rollers, etc.

Preferred Experience

• Roadway maintenance experience
• CDL license (a plus)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to use safety equipment and adapt to new technology
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications
• Flexibility to work changing schedules and environmental conditions
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate hand and power tools

Schedule

Full-time positions available for day, mid, and night shifts. Must be able to work during weather events such as snow, ice, and floods.
