Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician for night operations in the Davie, FL area. The role covers highway maintenance tasks in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include road patrol, lighting repair, sign repair, guardrail work, heavy equipment operation, and incident response. A clean driving record and MOT certifications are preferred; background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Maintain company standards for background checks (criminal record, driving record and drug testing)
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Carry out simple arithmetic functions
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
• Ability to use smart phone and applications
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
• Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate hand/power tools

Position Summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking Full-timeMaintenance Techniciansto perform night maintenance operations in the Davie, FLarea. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Roadway maintenance or construction experience
• MOT Certifications
• Clean driving record is essential

Schedule

Full time. Night shift. Mon-Fri. 7:30pm - 6:00am. Must be flexible and available to work on-call when required.

Salary

$18.00/hr+ depending on experience.
