Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. seeks a Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a range of highway maintenance tasks in the Tampa, FL area. You will join a team, adhere to regulations, and support safety and efficiency on projects.

The role requires flexibility for on-call and night work. Applicants should be able to perform road patrols, repairs, equipment operation, and follow safety protocols on diverse sites.

Position Summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians to perform highway maintenance operations in Tampa, FL area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Work as a part of a team performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance. MUST be flexible and able to work on-call and nights when necessary.

Highway maintenance tasks include, but not limited to:

• Road Patrol
• Lighting repair
• Sign repair
• Guardrail repair
• Heavy equipment operations
• Licensed herbicide applicators
• Incident response

Preferred Experience

• Roadway maintenance experience
• MOT Certifications

Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check

Schedule

Full time; must be flexible and available to perform on-call and emergency work.

Salary

Starting at$16.00/hr+ depending on equipment knowledge/experience.
