Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET (or equivalent).
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement, no air brake restrictions, interstate status (EI or NI).
• Five years of experience performing roadway/bridge/maintenance tasks as described in job examples.
• Successful completion of a work simulation and a medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews during maintenance operations, including setting up work zones and performing maintenance tasks.
• Operate highway maintenance equipment (tractors, dozers, loaders, trucks, graders, snowplows).
• Oversee material usage and contribute to reports; assist with keeping employee records.
• Oversee routine maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Inspect bridges and roadways to determine maintenance needs and track progress.
